Alfred Knight were considered one of the finest pianos ever made, this is a rare and excellent example. British made, these pianos were the very best of quality and a favourite with professional pianists. It has a sumptuous rich tone quite unlike any other piano which is largely due to the construction. To those interested there is no break in the treble stringing avoiding inconsistency in the notes around the strengthening bar which most pianos have.  Its fabulous quality is present in every note, the piano having an orchestral sound. I’ve sold many Knights over 45 years most of them in mahogany making this a really unusual find in black gloss and looking very contemporary. Good examples are around 4K so I have priced this very fairly. Profit is not my first priority as I trade in pianos as an intrest and hobby as much as business.
